The challenge. A major UK electricity transmission operator was running its capital delivery portfolio across a large estate of separate Primavera P6 databases, with data accuracy far below the level portfolio reporting needs. Fragmented structures and no single source of truth made reliable portfolio reporting almost impossible.

What we did. We led the full consolidation, upgrade and cloud migration into a single enterprise P6 environment. That meant standardising the work breakdown structure, activity coding, calendars and layouts across the estate, cleansing and migrating the data, and putting proper governance around how schedules are built and maintained.

The result. A fragmented estate became a single enterprise environment, data accuracy rose to a level the business could rely on, and portfolio reporting finally had a trustworthy, standardised single source.

Automated Earned Value Management Reporting: UK Electricity Transmission

The challenge. A UK electricity transmission operator's monthly earned value reporting was heavily manual and resource-hungry, and errors were slipping through into senior reporting.

What we did. We designed and built automated data validation and migration pipelines that fed clean outputs straight into senior management reporting, removing the manual re-keying that caused the errors.

The result. Reporting overhead fell substantially, the monthly cycle became largely automated, and the manual errors were designed out.

Offshore HVDC Interconnector Integrated Master Schedule

The challenge. A major subsea HVDC interconnector had to be planned across marine engineering, regulatory and infrastructure disciplines, and across international boundaries.

What we did. We built and maintained the Integrated Master Schedule in P6, coordinating every discipline into one coherent programme, running full critical path and sensitivity analysis, and integrating earned value so leadership could see progress and exposure clearly.

The result. A single multi-discipline master schedule, full critical-path visibility, and EVM and sensitivity reporting that stood up to the scrutiny a programme of that scale attracts.

The challenge. A UK national roads authority's Major Projects Directorate needed consistent Primavera P6 implementation and disciplined supplier programme governance, including NEC Clause 31 and 32 compliance, across a large planning community.

What we did. We led the enterprise P6 implementation across the directorate, built the supplier programme submission process to meet NEC requirements, and embedded planning governance and best practice across the teams and their supply chain.

The result. Enterprise P6 live across the directorate, a working NEC-compliant programme submission process, and consistent planning governance where it had previously been patchy.

The challenge. A major gas distribution network needed enterprise scheduling that could flag delay early and feed regulatory reporting, rather than a set of disconnected schedules.

What we did. We led the enterprise-wide Oracle Primavera Cloud and P6 implementation, built diagnostic tools that surface delay before it bites, and integrated schedule, cost and risk data so regulatory reporting drew from one consistent picture.

The result. OPC and P6 running enterprise-wide, proactive delay detection in place, and cost and risk correlated with the schedule for compliance reporting.

The challenge. A national fibre provider's Midlands 5G rollout needed resource- and cost-loaded programmes and a regional scheduling team capable of running them.

What we did. As regional scheduling lead, we built end-to-end cost-loaded programmes, managed the critical path activities that drove delivery, and mentored the schedulers across the region so the capability stayed after we left.

The challenge. A professional-services organisation wanted Oracle Primavera Cloud stood up properly and its team able to run it without leaning on outside help indefinitely.

What we did. We configured OPC from scratch, covering project codes, resources, templates and dashboards, then revised the existing programme plan, provided sustained ongoing support, and delivered tailored training to build genuine internal capability.

Saudi Arabia: Design Management Programme Scheduling (Cultural Giga-Project)

The challenge. A major Saudi Arabian cultural destination giga-project demanded an integrated design programme that met the developer's PMO reporting standards at every gateway, across many specialist disciplines.

What we did. Embedded with a UK design management consultancy, we built an integrated design programme in P6 spanning architecture, landscape, lighting and specialist disciplines, and aligned it to the developer's PMO standards so every gateway review had the evidence it needed.
